We've discussed, but I don't think we've implemented, adding a nonlinear function to a mod source. E.g., unipolar velocity through an exponential, or bipolar LFO through an odd function. This would be in the form of f(source) * via: that is, source -> f -> * via -> scale/add -> dest.
This is for implementing that. I know we've discussed it but I don't think we've built it. If part of this is built, I want to add some piecewise functions to it like the Kurzweil FUN equations.
This should apply to all engines' mod matrices.
Better yet? replace the "via/" with a two-argument function. This gives you things like AB, A^2*B, |A|*B, A-B, max(), min(), etc. This is closer to the Kurzweil FUNs
