Ben asked on 2026-10-12 which instruments of the families already here were missed, and for an issue a family. Everything below is from recollection, with no manual read; issue #20's list was wrong in several places for the same reason, so read the manuals first and correct this. Each is to be an extension of the existing instrument, as the Jupiters and the JX family are, never a "model" switch.
Not to be done now, by Ben's word on 2026-10-12; filed so that it is not lost.
Two things from 2026-10-12, on the branch
family-extensions(not pushed). The Pro 2 and the Pro 3 are out, by Ben's word. The Pro 2 is not a resurrection of the Pro-One but a new monosynth on the Prophet 12's voice, so it falls under the rule that shuts out a line begun after about 2000; that it is so was Claude's recollection, which Ben accepted, and no document was read. The Pro 3 is out twice, in Ben's words "by being a fresh design and by being still in production". The Pro-One itself is still the open question it was. CLAUDE.md's open decision on the Prophets says so.
The Prophets have the shared key priority switch,
voice.key_priority, for the Prophet-5's unison (voice.assign2): 0 the latest key, 1 the lowest, 2 the highest, starting at 1, the lowest, by the Prophet-5's owner's manual. The T8's unison (voice.assign3) does not hear it and keeps its own rule, the latest key and then the lowest, which is no position of the switch.
